Westchester Modular Homes, Inc. headquartered in Wingdale, NY, was established in 1986 and is nearing its 25th Anniversary of high quality modular construction. To meet the rising demand of housing in the Northeast market, the founders of Westchester Modular Homes recognized the benefits of constructing homes in a climate-controlled factory with a highly skilled staff that operates 12 months a year. The concept of building efficiently in a weather protected environment, with on-time delivery and cost control is the essence of modular construction, and has made systems built housing one of the fastest growing segments in the housing industry.

In January 2000, Westchester Modular became an Employee Owned Company, and has evolved into an industry leader with employee owned innovation in design, superior craftsmanship and customization. Presently, Westchester Modular markets their homes through a network of independent builders in a nine-state area including New England, NY, NJ & PA, and employs about 175 people full time in their plant near the Connecticut border in Windgale, New York.

Many people will be surprised to know that modular homes (in comparison with traditional stick-built products) are built with 20% more wood in the framing process. To learn more about modular construction, Westchester Modular invites all interested homebuyers to their factory tours held the first Saturday of each month. The tours are free and open to the public, but all participants must be 18 to tour the factory.
